Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club

A letter from Chris Allard, Co-Owner of Metal Shark Boats:

I am pleased to announce that Metal Shark Boats will be hosting the 2nd Annual Metal Shark Boats Boy Scout Classic on Monday, May 24th at Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club.  This non-profit event will raise money for our local Boy Scout council - the Evangeline Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.  As an Eagle Scout, I know first-hand the life lessons, hard work, and values that the Scouting program helps instill in young people.  We have multiple former Scouts throughout the ranks in Metal Shark, families with children in Scouts and a great South Louisiana Scout culture.  For those not aware, the Evangeline Area Council has built a dynamic high adventure camp in our hometown Atchafalaya Basin bringing Scouts and youth groups from around the country to South Louisiana.

We hope you can join us for this 4-Man Scramble featuring lots of food, drinks, prizes...AND the chance to tee-off using an AR-15!  Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration in participating as a sponsor.  I look forward to seeing you at the tournament!

Chris Allard

Co-Owner, Metal Shark Boats

The funds raised at this tournament go to support our local youth to ensure they get a strong Scouting program, by helping cover the costs of registration, books, uniforms, and programs fees for those who are unable to afford to join and get involved. We do not want to turn any boy away from Scouting because of financial reasons, and this tournament helps us do just that. Scouting shapes our future leaders and this tournament helps more youth get involved in the Scouting program. Help make a positive difference in the lives of our future leaders, and sign up your team today!
