The Evangeline Area Council is delighted to announce one of our favorite and most rewarding events---the Eagle Scout and Council Recognition Banquet on Sunday, April 13th at 4:30 p.m. (gathering at 4:00 p.m.) at the City Club at River Ranch (1100 Camellia Boulevard in Lafayette) where we will honor Eagle Scouts who earned the rank from 2023 - 2025. In addition, we will be recognizing several key Council volunteers and recognizing the recipients of our Silver Beaver Awards.

This event is the highlight of our year celebrating the journey of our recent Eagle Scouts who are set to become the leaders of tomorrow. I urge you to join me in helping to make this event a huge success by becoming a corporate or individual sponsor. These donations are an integral part of recognizing these young men and women for their achievement. Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $1000. The money raised will be used to help underwrite the cost of the event and provide dinner and recognition items for the Eagle Scouts.

We appreciate donations at all levels and would ask that you consider sharing this sponsorship opportunity with your friends and business associates. It’s so important to show these young men and women of Scouting the depth of their support by surrounding them with dedicated members of our community who support their work and commitment to Scouting. As an Eagle Scout myself, I know firsthand that achievement of the Eagle Rank is one of the most important milestones in a young person’s life. By choosing this path, these Scouts have committed to the obligations and responsibilities that define the rank and your support would mean the world to them.
