Eagle Scout Resources

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest and most prestigious achievement a Scout can reach. Highly respected, the Rank of Eagle Scout carries with it a special significance not only in Scouting, but also in school, business and the community for a lifetime. To attain Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges, display leadership and outdoor skills, demonstrate through their example the Scout Oath and Law and complete a comprehensive service project in the community.

When it is time for you to take your final step on your Journey to Eagle, please be sure to bring the following to the Council Service Center:

  1. Eagle Scout Rank Application:
  2. Statement of Ambition:
    • Your Statement of Ambition is a brief essay about what you plan to do AFTER you have earned the Rank of Eagle Scout. These can be continued plans in Scouting, professional development, or educational ambitions.
  3. Recommendation Forms:
    • The Eagle Scout Recommendation Form can be found in the Resources section of this page. It is the responsibility of the Eagle Scout Candidate to obtain these recommendations, however it is imperative that their contents remain CONFIDENTIAL. Once the form has been filled out, it must be sealed in an envelope before being handed back to the Candidate. They may not know the contents of this form at any point during the Board of Review process. This is to ensure that responses are 100% honest assessments of an Eagle Scout Candidate's personality.
  4. Completed Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook:
    • Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook
    • This workbook will guide you through the approval, planning, and reporting processes while you are working on Eagle Scout Requirement 5. The completed workbook must be turned in to the Council at the same time as your Eagle Scout Rank Application.

Please bring the required paperwork to the Council Service Center organized into a yellow envelope or manilla folder. We know that you want your application to stand out, but please refrain from using 3-ring binders to contain your paperwork, as they take up too much space.
